Trying to buy new, but..
I'm wanting to buy a 2019 2SS in Garnet Red Tint Coat.
Auto trans Magnetic Ride Control Dual mode Exhaust Black wheels Power Sunroof (not a deal breaker if it's not there) Cash deal, no trade. I found two in my state, IL, both about 200miles away. My local dealer, who I bought a 2015 Impala LTZ, would only come off MSRP $500. I passed. I called the other dealer, he came off $1800. I passed. Are 2019 2SS Camaros selling that well that the dealers won't come down much? Will there be better discounts in May? Bummed out in IL. |

I feel ya.
I was in the same exact spot as you. Cash deal for a 2SS with all options, except sunroof. I wanted it in Satin Steel Gray and ended up having to drive four hours away to find one. They only had 1 SS in stock. I know people are whining about how the 19's aren't selling, but thats not what I'm seeing in, and around San Diego. When talking to the sales guys at 4 different dealerships, I mentioned about the 2019 sales being down, every one of them said not the SS'. They were moving fast. There's no meat on the bone for the dealer when paying cash. They make their money on trade-ins and financing. If you or your wife have a Costco card, make sure you ask for their rebate. I saved $3300 on the costco rebate alone. Keep at it, and check in with different dealers. Let them know what you want and maybe they can work a dealer trade with another lot. Good luck!

I think you get $1500 off just for financing with GM. Take the $1500 rebate and pay off the loan the minute you get your loan docs. Will end up about $60 in interest maybe.
I got $1500 off plus dealer discount of about $2200. I also had a Mustang so got the $2K off Conquest. $33,090 final price. MSRP was just under $40K. Even without the Mustang rebate, they were willing to sell it for $35K so almost $5K off MSRP. |

(Feeler)
I have a steel gray , $53k sticker, with BBK, $2k chevy wheels w/ red stripe, npp, red interior, Magnetic ride control, w/ no sunroof, But i have the rare performance package on my SS. if you can maybe do $44.5k , car has 5k miles. I also broke it in perfectly very OCD, never going above 4k rpm until 1.5k miles. |

If you're going to be picky with options, you're not going to get the best of deals...

That's not good. Just by using truecar, its saying you should get at least just over 2k off.

Compare out the door prices and go from there.
Dealer profit centers are in the fees they tack onto the car's selling price.

Good luck finding your Camaro.
Garnet Red with Black wheels is going to look good.

IDK, I was about to pull the trigger on the 18, but with the announcement of the 20's, I'm thinking with my tendency to trade in every 2 or 3 years that I would take a hit on trade in value with it. For some odd reason, it looks like Challengers hold there value better. According to KBB a similar priced Scat Pack is coming in around 3k more than the same year Camaro. Of course one with leather and the color I would want is still a few grand more than the Camaro, so I guess its basically a wash. |

Or wait a little while for the 2020's. Nice changes to the front end.

I could see that, I bought it emotionally on a whim, didnt think twice. I happened to get lucky because I have not seen 1 single other performance package camaro SS yet. my favorite feature is the launch control. I could die happily in this car, but i have some business outlets I could use the $ for , you know the price always has to be right haha, but I love my camaro |
