True fact! I used to work at BMR. The Delrin is NOT going to compress or give at all. The material is used as a way to avoid metal-to-metal contact, thus reducing NVH over aluminum.

Except with the aluminum there is no added NVH, at least not on mine.

It sucks GM pulled the plug on the kit and is forcing you to get the whole rear cradle assembly now in order to get the aluminium pucks.

Wait wait waaaaaaaait...

This is 2 days of labor at a performance shop.
Labor = 14 hours x 100 / hour = $1,400
Parts = $450

What precisely are we getting for our two grand investment into rear suspension?

Note product page says - DISCONTINUED 4/1/19

Also note the part number to search for is:
84341929

Not a $1600 improvement over the lockout kit that's for sure

if you spin the tires the car wont kick out it will just go strait. i do all my own work so total cost $450 with new GM bolts. Keeps the rear end alignment under heavy load. so better handling too. 14hours must include meal breaks.

Mine took almost 11 hours, but my race shop didn't heat the cradle to get them out, I requested that they saw them out. I didn't want to take any changes on metal fatigue potential caused from heating up the cradles.

I went the conservative route.

You are getting a more settled rear-end and increased driver confident from the increased feel of what the rear-end is doing.

To me it was worth it and I would do it again, even with the time and cost involved.

My best analogy is that it feels more "Porsche like", just makes the feel a lot more confidence inspiring and tight.

looking at the BMR website I am not seeing these bushings or the lockout kit.

Is this what they call chassis brace? CB008 and CB009?
