Ah, nice. I was wondering how that upgrade went for you. How difficult was that install and how much more NVH have you experienced since then?

I bought my GM dream car. VERY similar to the SS 1LE, just with a couple hundred more HP and an A10!

My dream 'modern' GM car would be a Grand Sport Stingray with an LS7, or something a little higher revving than the LT1.

I think the new C8 with its rumored engine options will be as close to my dream car as GM will get in my life time. I don't think we will see V8 cars as they exist today come Gen 9 of the Vette.

A pristine original condition or resto-modded 1st Gen Camaro would due just fine too though.

How about this, a C6 z06 (with no head issues), with the z07 package, with the interior of the SS 1LE. That would be close as hell to what i would ideally want. The looks, the NA engine, the stance, the aero, the handling, the comfort.

I was never a fan of the C6 looks. Never found it to be aggressive enough, even the ZR1.

To answer the actual question... 69 Camaro SS with black and white stripes.

Modern Dream car NON-GM would be Aston Martin Vanquish S in terms of performance and luxury.

https://global.astonmartin.com/en-us...ction_Discover

Happy with SS 1LE with price point and performance. Soft spot for all Camaro's
variants.

Dream Car From GM throwback would be 1967 L88 Corvette.

I kinda regret selling my Resto Modded '68 with LSx power and DSE suspension, but I really wanted a track day ride!

For me it has to be a 67’ Camaro. Though I’m not a “purist” so for get the #s matching restoration crap haha basically I want a 1st gen 1LE to match my 6th gen. So full build for maximum handling, low weight and either an LS7 or a heads/cam built LT1, panited to match my 6th gen as well!

The Aston is a dream car for sure. 200 mph. $300K. I can't imagine what it would be like to drive that car, and I'll probably never know.

Edit - just realized the Aston is a V12 as well. End of story.
