Mine lasted 6000 miles / 10000 km. I drive my car hard and push it around corners so that the back end steps out. I just bought a slightly used set of tires for a very good price. I will drive the car just as hard, life is too short to drive slow to save the tires.
The old set of tires will die with all the glory while I do some "drifting" practice

I have 24,000 miles on mine. The rears are almost gone. I'll get a new set of 4 of the Continentals in July before driving to CamaroFest 8.

Wow, you guys have it good. I have not hit 10k yet, and the rears and fronts are both at 5/32. I know they say 2/32 is minimum, but in the wet, its recommended to not go below 4/32. Will need new tires in about 1000-5000 miles. Max 15K for me out of this set. Looks like original owner really beat on the tires
Going to go with run flats again. The car handles great and the convenience factor cannot be beat. |

At 15 K I was at the 2/32 tread markers in the rear and switched them out for a pair of "take-offs" that had 900 miles on them. As others mentioned after about 4/32 I had to be careful in the wet as the rear end wanted to step out on me. I'm still running the original fronts with about 5/32 left - will switch them soon - not going to run them down to 2/32.

I guess I drive mine way harder than the average owner. Had to replace rears at 5K and fronts at 6,500.

2018 1SS 1LE. Wore down to 2/32 back and 5/32 front in 7500 miles (8 months). No burnouts. No donuts. One track weekend (8 sessions). Back end was scary in rain. Got a pin hole leak in middle of tread. Changed to Michelin PS4s. Drove it daily and drove it right. I advise all owners to check tread depth with a gauge often!

I'll have to check my tires with a depth gauge. By eye, the grooves look to have not quite 1/8" of depth. They passed the state inspection in April and I have 17,000 miles on them.
I keep thinking about replacing them, but haven't yet. I only drive it in the rain when the weatherman is wrong, which happened Thursday BTW, and it felt fine. Am torn between getting another set of summer performance tires, and going all season so I can keep driving it when the weather is cold but the salt hasn't appeared yet.
