6th gen Camaro V6 with SS exhaust
Sorta new to the forums but I wanted to see if anyone had any experience trying to install the 3" axel back or catback exhaust's from the ss to the 2.5" pipes of the V6. I've seen before that hyperhawk camaro had it done with MBRP race cutback system, but he deleted both his cats and it pretty much went straight to the exhaust manifolds. My state has pretty strict emissions standards, and new laws here in CA would fine me if its too loud :( So I'm looking for something like hyper hawks set up but maybe a tad bit quieter but still have the raspy sound.

Yeah its possible to do the 3 inch like JakeF_RS said. Im just personally not a fan of the MBRP sound, especially on a V6. I went with just buying Flowmaster mufflers on Amazon, saved a ton of money and got a way deeper sound.
I switched out the resonator for a non resonated X-pipe to add a little volume and rasp. And tomorrow I go in to put high flow cats on so wish me luck.
