Only thing i can think of is that the resistor wire came off when you plugged it in somewhere on one of them vice versa. I had the same issue at first until i finally had the resistor wire stay put as i plugged the bulb in.

I double checked....the resistor stayed in. It's still like that. My gusss is the resistors are too weak. The lights are brighter when the resistor is off and dimmer when the resistors are on. But they still are on....I guess I need to buy stronger resistors

Thanks for the offer but I think we have the same strength resistors..I have 2.2kohm 1/4 watt ones. I'll look into it again when I have more time. It's possible I made a mistake somewhere.

Let us know if it works for you. I used to have those for my wife's c300 before we got rid of it. Report back with your findings.

Note that you only need one resistor.

Hey Tony, so what you are saying is that we only need 1 resistor on just 1 of the LED's for both of them to work? If that's the case then makes it even easier. Regardless i guess they work with 1 on each LED bulbs like mine LOL!!! Thank you for the info brother.

Are you sure that is also the case for this specific mod? I know with others it is, but have you used these?

TonyNo was the first to bring this bring the LED mod to my attention and others in another thread. If anyone knows best about the install it would be him and another user named Nookz. Looks forward to his reply as well

I just installed these, you need resistors on both. works good, may solder them later just to make sure they do not come off.

Hey guys,

well, I installed the resistors on both sides, just in case anything happens to one of them. Might work with only one resistor, but not sure about it.
However, with a pack of 10 resistors costing me 1 Dirham (=0.20USD), I didn't have to think twice...

Cheers,
Len
