Got my wire kit in from Amazon today so I followed the guide and everything went great. The hardest part was getting the clips to let go on the black trim piece. Very happy with how it turned out.

Finally got mine installed! Used the wire taps from the OP and they were a flawless fit, very easy to do once I got the clips to release on the black trim piece. I only had to disconnect the left LED connector and the main back connector where the taps were going (no need to take off the entire trim piece). Will post pics later

Looking forward to seeing this. I'm in the market for the max 360 as well. I have a 14 ZL1, but I'm assuming that the way they wired these is the same. Did you have to order any specific wire to hardwire your detector like mirror tap?

Totally forgot about updating the thread, sorry!!!

I did indeed got my max360 and a blendmount. I already had my vehicle hardwired for the 9500ix so I did NOT use the mirror tap which you CAN use a mirror tap IF you have automatic dimming mirror. Will NOT work on manual dimming is what I am told.

The regular blue/red hardwire kit with mute button from Passport Escort works perfectly fine with it.

I had the red mute hardwire kit from Escort hardwired about a month ago for my 9500ix. I do like the concept behind MirrorTap but having to reach and click the radar detector every single time to mute is not something that's great. I really am liking the max360. It is pretty legit. A bit overkill if you ask me over the 9500ix as that got the job done MANY times but I said screw it and upgraded. Can't go wrong with it, that's for sure. Especially since the only pro of V1 over the escort were arrows and the 360 has it, so there is absolutely no need for any valentine detectors haha.

The placement of the mute button worked out perfectly too.

So where did you run the wires for your setup? How much of the dash and roof did you have to take apart? I am loving my Max 360 also, already saved me from 2 tickets so I think it has paid for itself, lol. Do you have any pictures of your install?
