Didn't Dustin tell you how much? I would guess 9-10 lbs but really don't remember the numbers on that pulley with the stock lower. If you go to an 80mm you'd be about 3-4 lbs more boost but would need a new tune and maybe a belt. It seemed like Mikes Z06 was about 14 lbs with the 80mm if I remember correctly. I could be wrong but that's close. My 80mm on my SS was about 13-14 also and I have the stock lower cause my current 75 is about 16 psi.

I’m sure Dustin told me the boost and a whole lot more. It seems as if I have early onset CRS
It’s all good...still have smiles for miles. Plus rainy season just started and I’m thankful I don’t have the stock tires on... Maybe Santa will leave me some parts under the tree. Please PM me the price for the 103 snout. |

Did you get any cool parts from santa? I wonder how it would work with a smaller pulley, 103 throttle body, new tune, but everything else stock...

Guess I was bad last year...no go fast parts under the tree. The first world problem I have is wanting to do something once, and that means exhaust, intake, tb, pulley, belt, and tune. And, even getting some parts used, great deals on others is more than I paid for the 2650...next deals are around tax time, we’ll see if I can make it happen then.

@Ted - I’ve got the 2650, installed and tuned by Magnuson in Ventura, CA. And, we’ve talked. I’ve got your email with my parts list and costs, just waiting for my budget to catch up to my wish list

Are you keeping the standard snout, or moving to the upgraded one? I'm eager to see what you get either way!

I went with the 95 and an adapter so I could keep the snout. I figure the 95 will be enough for me to run out of fuel. I can go 103 or 112 later when I’ve got the budget for fuel, whatever that means...cam, high/low, injectors or some combination of them.

Excellent. I'm eager to see if that ported 95 clears up the restriction around that power level. I know there's one claiming effective 102 or 103-flow, so it would seem to me that if it is assumed you have the flow of a 102, and don't see much improvement, than perhaps the restriction is then the snout. And if there is improvement, then the snout might just be good for about that power range.
You're helping me figure out the most effective way to get to where I want to be. I'd like to see about 700-RWHP (without going into the engine), and don't really want more (I won't turn it away though, HA). I know I can get that with a ported 1.7, but I want the cooling and efficiency of the 2650. AND... I want to keep close to CARB-status (swapping intakes is easy, and I don't want to swap pulleys if possible) because I have to, so if a ported 95 (stock appearing) on the standard snout (I already have a RF) can get me there, I'd prefer to save the money on the upgraded snout. I need to stay on 91, so I know I can't run E' unless I put a cam in it. Or... I should talk to Ted, and see if a BOP will allow me to run E', and maybe eek a little more power out of him (maybe that might work for you, too). I'd like the flexibility of E' (since I can get it around here), so maybe a BOP will be good enough... Anyways... Please keep us posted. And thanks for keeping our attention, HAHAHA. I still have to convince my better half I need a 2650, HAHAHA. She hasn't said no yet... CARB-compliance and efficient use of mods' are what I'm after, and you're shedding light for me, so my continued "Thanks!!!"

That 112 is too big in my opinion for a street car. The 103 is plenty.
