It in fact doesn't, all you need is some shaving on the bottom, a hole in the back for the brake booster (make it around the same area your stock one was). Got this intake for my 6 and my boy had it done in no longer then an hour and a half.

If you're not mechanically skilled, i would highly advise bringing it to a trustworthy shop. Better safe then ruining your intake.

2017 camaro SS- LT2 Intake, E85 flex fuel, Corsa extreme axle back, Cat/2nd cat delete, K&N CAI, BMR lower trailing arms

Baseline dyno- 412hp and 420t to the wheels, will have a separate dyno reading for LT2 intake and flex fuel Friday afternoon.

Your car being a manual and typically dynoing 10-15 RWHP more than a 8 or 10 speed auto, my car with the LT2 intake and a secondary cat delete mid pipe had a RWHP of 421 and 431 lbft of torque did reasonably well , with e70 flex fuel it went to 441 and 445

Question: Would it be possible to fit the LT2 manifold with the GM strut tower brace if the ribs on the top of the manifold were shaved down underneath where the tower brace would interfere?

I believe there was some posting on this forum related to just that with pictures. You can do it by shaving the ribs in the middle of the intake or make a nice 1/4 inch shave job on the Brace itself.

I was wondering the same thing

Installed the LT2 intake and Roto-Fab Sound Tube Delete CAI on my SS 1LE this weekend. I'm also using the LT5 TB with the Soler 95 to 87MM TB adapter. Ordered the LT2 intake from GPI with the appropriate fitment mods. Retained most of the foam aside from the section over the fuel pump. Slid in and bolted down pretty nicely. For those of you with the strut tower brace, I used 5/16 washers (3), which I bought from Home Depot, under each bolt to help raise it up to clear the top of the Intake Manifold. Two washers worked, but it was still a little too close for my liking. I also purchased (2) M8 1.25 x 30MM. I believe the stock bolts on the strut tower are 1.25 x 20MM which is too short when you add in the washers.

Is the intake side of the 95 mm throttle body the same diameter regarding the intake tube and seal that clamp to it.

If I get the LT2 manifold, I will likely shave down the ribs a little bit where the strut tower brace is in addition to a few washers for spacing.

I figured that with spacers, the bolts would be a little too short; the factory bolts are a bit short.

There is a rubber sleeve that goes over the end of the throttle body that pretty easily expands to fit over it. I didn't measure the size of the intake elbow to know if that's exactly 95mm. I looked on Roto-Fab's site and it doesn't specify the size. Not sure if that answers your question.

Sorry, I asked the question wrong, is the intake side of the 95mm throttle body the same size as the 87mm throttle body so the intake tube and rubber sleeve and clamp all still fit.

Thank you. Some little research I have run across indicates that on a NA stock application even with a few bolt ons, the 95 MM throttle body doesnt produce any additional horsepower. Have you seen or experienced different results?
