Borla mid pipe?

Is it worth it? The oem one is about the same diameter and was curious if this actually does anything including sound difference.

Without a cat delete, I would say it's useless.

Mines hi flow catted to be emissions friendly. Running catless is no really gains unless you had a ridiculous turbo and ecm so tuned that you would rid of b1s2 codes and b1s1 air fuel codes.

Not saying its not wrong, but catless downpipes don't do a whole lot of power gains from catted when the fastest ltg is less than 600hp. At worst you losing 10whp and if thats the case, upgrade to an lt2 engine.

I was looking more at seeing regardless of cat, if the mid pipe upgrade would increase the engine noise. I ran catless DP before with muffler delete and it sounded like absolute terrible. I lost more power than stock.

I have a mishimoto cat back exhaust and I like the sound better than stock, specifically the turbo whistle. If you can find them on sale like I did, would be better than a mid pipe if you haven't already got an axle back kit. I can't say it gives more power but it is lighter than stock.
