Here you go... Did you do the break-in/seating procedure you are supposed to do when you first put them on?

Someof those little metal clips that they include can be the problem. Be sure they're not on backwards.

Just from what I've read they seem to have more initial bite then the z pads while still minimizing dust. Have also read that multiple people have had noise/squeeking issues with the z pads. I know they are more expensive but the with the amount of mile I put on car they'll probably be the last pads I'll need to get... lol
Right on the squeaking. I like that my Z26 pads all but eliminate the dust, and I’m ok with the stopping power on the street. But the squeaking for the first movement of the car after sitting is horrific. Used to be the neighbors covered their ears when the saw me get in the car because of the exhaust, now it’s because of the brakes. Lol. I tried taking them back off and re-applying the anti-squeak lube, and it works for a very short time, but no joy. I’ve gotten in the habit of dragging the brakes with my left foot for the initial movement of the car, so it’s manageable. After that they are quiet, otherwise they would already be in the trash. And yes, I bedded them properly, I have perfect roads for doing it. Only thing I can think of is I didn’t replace rotors, but mine only had a thousand or so miles on them and had no warping, so I couldn’t see replacing them.

Not sure if recommend for this specific application, but i was trained to apply a good nondirectional resurfacing of the rotor with a wire wheel or light abrasive. This will prep a lightly used rotor to better accept new pads if you arent turning (cutting) them. Example... spin the rotor on a lathe while hitting it with a random orbit sander with light abrasive or a moderately stiff wire cup wheel.

Most shops dont do this, but its a good idea to do this even if you ARE turning the rotor. When you buy new rotors, you can already see this pattern on the new rotor from the manufacturer.

That is exactly how mine are. Normal driving is fine but if Im 100 plus and get hard on the petal they make a scrub noise might be normal I guess. I did the break-in exactly. Thanks for the pic to confirm

Front 2020 ZL1

AR84100XPR - Rotor
Z26-1835 - Pads
K7662-26 - Rotor & pads as a kit

Rear 2020 ZL1

AR8681XPR - Rotor
Z26-1053 - Pads
K3019-26 - Rotor & pads as a kit

K7563-26 Front and rear pads and rotors as a kit

I didn’t find any complete front/rear rotor/pad kits.

I didn’t find a front rotor/pad kit. I did find pads separate but no rotors.

For the rear, Amazon had one rotor/pad kit

I even use it on my ceramic coated wheels, since I found the ceramic coating that was applied to mine made very little difference. I'd still get a noticeable film of brake dust after just a few hundred miles. But with the ArmorAll Outlast, it will usually last as long as it will take for the car to get dirty in general. Some people have had issues with Outlast leaving a milky haze in some places. Perhaps it's just apparent on some wheel finishes like chrome, or it's being misapplied. In any case, I've never had that issue with mine and I used it for years. Unfortunately, I can no longer find a local vendor now and I've had to switch to Autoglym Alloy Rim Protector, which seems to work pretty well too.

Nigel
I've got this on order from Amazon to try it out. ArmorAll Outlast Brake Dust Repellent.

Gotcha... Sorry I can't help... I haven't been in situations like that with my car.

Hmm, purchase a car lauded for having one of the best braking systems around. Modify that system to achieve enhanced prettiness. No thanks, I own a hose.

I quite like this answer. Have an alternative proposal, too, if washing feels onerous, which is somewhat understandable: brake dust colored wheels

If you track your car, drive your car on public roads like you are on track, or are simply just an all around bad driver and need to make frequent sudden stops... I'd recommend you keep the OEM Brembo pads. For the rest of us who drive the Camaro only on public roads and have some fun with some spirited driving... You'll never out drive the Z26 pads. To each his own. They work great for me and my driving and I don't have to deal with the brake dust anymore.
