Tire size Tall

Trying to figure out what size to go with. a 27 tall or 29 tall both the same width theirbouts. Im at about 700 wheel. For the streets of ole Mexico? ss

What size wheel? If you are running 20” wheels then a 305/35/20 Nitto NT555R2 is probably you’re best bet for street traction, which is a 28” tall tire. If you’re running a 17” wheel, then a 305/45/17 will fit which is what I run at the strip and is also ~28” tall. Usually the NA guys run a 26” tall tire and PD blower guys run a 28 to help absorb the big torque hit down low.

I'm running a 30x9 hoosier radial slick with no issues. I'd go as tall as you can to help it hook.

So your basically running the Copo Hoosiers at 30x9. What power adder do you have to make 1340rwhp?

Yes with a 15x10 wheel. I have a 416 ci with twin turbos and a th400. Excited to see what it'll run this year.
