Had the same situation happen when I bought my car. Purchased my 2017 base model V6 1LE in may of this year for 21,384 plus ttl. The deals are there you just have to find them!

I found a White 2018 1SS 1LE w/PDR in the Denver area and got a smoking deal. I called the sales manager, suggested that it was likely to sit until Spring and made a low-ball offer. He took the deal, I purchased the day before Thanksgiving and after shipping I should have my car back in CA next week.

Hare Chevrolet in Noblesville Indiana has a white 2018 1LE that has been on their lot for over 300 days now. It is the longest sitting new car they currently have according to my salesman. Might be worth trying to negotiate on it?!?

That’s awesome. How low did you go? My dealership won’t budge!

Used car market is saturated right now. We need the price of new cars to come down. A weak economy may help also. I remind myself not to get in a hurry.

I paid $39,750 + tax and GM delivery fee. In addition to PDR it has LPO black bow ties, carbon insert gas cap door, “1LE” floor mats and something called battery protection package (because Colorado). I’m also going to have to pay $1050 to have it delivered to CA but I arranged that myself and wasn’t part of the deal.
