Two weeks ago I almost bought a Nightfall Grey 1SS 1LE that had no options other than the 1LE package and a fender stripe for $38,080 before tax. Ended up buying one that had the black illuminated bowties and the PDR ($1800 in options more) for $40k - car stickered for $47,115, not quite 20% but pretty close

Costco does Supplier Pricing plus $700 Costco gift card + available incentives in December. You need to be a Costco member for 60-90 days to qualify.

As you discovered with the $1,000 Select Market Cash, there often are hidden regional incentives that aren't publicized or special manufacturer-supplied "dealer money" marketing support plans that only the dealer can tell you about. The first question I always ask when I walk into a showroom is about the incentives - so the dealer thinks I already know about all of them and won't hide them (or part of them, like offering you only half the Select Market Cash and keeping the rest for themselves).

You really have to be ready to play the game - it's the dealer's job to get as much of your money as possible, and your job to keep as much of your money as possible - keeping in mind the dealer still has to make a little to help pay salaries and keep the lights on. "I'm interested in a Camaro SS 6-speed, but before we go any further, let's go through the list of all the incentives and rebates you have available now - so I can keep them in mind as we move forward." Now the dealer knows he's working with an informed customer who's probably ready to buy a car and can bypass a lot of the usual sales BS.

BTW, Edmunds.com does a pretty good job of staying on top of available incentives: https://www.edmunds.com/chevrolet/car-incentives.html.

My local Chevy Dealer has up to $6500 off 1SS 1LE's and has five of them in stock, most only on the lot for a few weeks.

Granted you may not get all the discounts, and they are in Northern Va, but there are some discounts out there to be had now.

Awesome... lot's of great info in this thread. Much appreciated. Wish me luck! My 1LE will be tracked a few times per year. Should be a good match up with my friend's VW Golf R which he let me take for a spin

OP - Have you tried Knapp Chevrolet near downtown(I am sure you have as they have a few), or that Chevy Dealer in Sugarland that I think is a forum member here?

I did tell myself if I was ever in the market for a new 1LE, I would try Becky D first.

The member on here is David Croft and he's at Parkway Chevy in Tomball. He owns a Mosaic Black ZL1 and knows the Camaros well. Classic in Sugarland used to be the Camaro Club sponsor but after their change in management they went downhill fast. Bayway in Pearland is now the club sponsor.

And BeckyD is always a first choice. If you order a 19 she will just ship it direct to Houston. I had her do that with a truck and I just picked it up at Munday Chevy at no extra charge. She makes this stuff easy.

My local dealer just got in 2 new 2018 1SS 1LE's this week. A Hyper Blue and a nightfall grey and both are aggressively priced at $37,777......and these guys really deal!
