Automatic Top Down...

Today was the first time I tried.

Press unlock then top down.

Never saw it come from outside the car before.

Was a true thing of beauty.

Absolutely love this car.

Yes! It is one of my favorite things...everytime I am out and walking to the car I use that feature...you are 100% right sir.

I sometimes combine that with auto start too...because I like hearing it start up from outside the car. Puts a smile on my face every time.

Did the remote-top-down and remote-start at a car show in front of a couple kids a few weeks back.

One of the kids says: "Whoah, is that a transformer?!"

They loved it.

As with everything else on this car, this feature blows away the archaic top down of the previous generation Camaro

Has anyone installed that gizmo to where you can just hit the top down button once and it goes all the way down (without having to hold your finger on the button)?

No explanation needed, it does what I said earlier. I don't remember what site I saw it on but IIRC they hadn't developed one for the 6th gen yet.

Corvettes only. Company near Vegas makes them and is willing to do the Camaro but nobody near by is willing to let them use theirs to test on. It also allows one touch of remote to also put up the top.

Don’t hold your breath. No one in two years has offered up their vert. I wouldn’t be surprised that it would work as is or with very slight programming change.

This is the only company making anything at all and still not for the Camaro.

My bad.. but I did also say I couldn’t remember what site I had seen it on. They could use mine if I lived in Vegas!

Just being nitpicky, but this thread should be titled "Remote Top Down". After reading the title, I thought it was going to be a thread about putting the top down without having to press and hold the top down switch on the header.
