Sounds like way too much trouble that I don't want to go through for nav. I might just have to ensure the car has it in the first place. Any truth to a rumor i heard about MyLink app's coming out soon and one happens to be a nav app?

Would you have a parts list or a shop that has performed this ?

I'm also looking for a GM factory solution for adding Navigation to a 2013 SS with MyLink.

It's not too much trouble.
Go through gen5diy. I put a 2014 unit into a 2011 and love it.

Chevy dealers will not do this for you, for whatever their reasons. If you buy it aftermarket, just hope you get a good one and it is installed correctly. It will not be covered by warranty.

Obviously it wouldn't be covered under warranty as it's not original equipment. It's technically aftermarket. Warranty only covers equipment original to the car when it was manufactured.
