Same here, we also have a strong car scene. Ive seen 3 C8 Vettes in the last few days. We have several car meets within a few miles. My car kinda just blends in. All that matters is that I love it.

Well it almost never turns head, not that much compliment, nothing really.

I had more compliment on my Tiburon when it was in better shape.

I had more people asking to race me in my Tiburon than in my Camaro.

I play golf quite a bit and with Callaway on the car and Callaway being a golf company, some people think I just added badging. I just smile and go about my business.

I’ve only had it a few weeks, and haven’t driven all that much. But it almost always gets attention..which I figured it would for my area. It’s bright yellow so the color is loud to begin with lol. It roars to life on startup and it grumbles even when driven conservatively (NPP exhaust). I love it so far!

Joke? Not at all, just a simple observation. I'll help you out since you are obviously confused. If you look underneath a user's name they sometimes list cars they drive the particular user I made said "joke" about has 2018 XLE corvette. No such car... Does he mean ZL1 1LE? Who knows since that model only exists in the Camaro...could he mean corvette Z06 I can see the "shorthand" in this case if so cool. There are many non camaro owners in this forum.. again who knows? All I know is that car listed under user's name doesn't exist. I hope this helps you but then again it could all be a joke to you... In that case do you boo boo.

Just read this thru and I knew exactly what you were saying when you said the car doesn’t exist. Didn’t think much of it until I saw some “zippy” comments back. Bygones guys...

Back to the thread though, I drive a ‘19 ZL1 in Crush, and the car does turn heads. Always guys, and I can tell the ones that look are just like us, they’re car guys. Just yesterday I had a group of Harley dudes pass me in the opposite direction on a slow residential street. The last guy looked at my car an mouthed “what the f__k is that?” .

As Scottyz said earlier, there are next to no ZL1 1LE’s around here, and it’s the same for ZL1’s. I’ve owned 6th Gens for 3 years, and have only seen 1 ZL1, and 1 ZL1 1LE in the wild.

I get a good amount of looks and the few that "wanna go..." I think I've customized mine enough it definitely stands out but isn't "in your face" (which is EXACTLY what I was going for), but people look at it and know it is "different" than what they've seen before...

Being in Aus my 2018 SS gets a lot of attention. There are only 500 2018s here, and probably a few more 2019s, compared to the Mustang which are everywhere. I always get looks and comments, even from the regular population just trying to get a look or figure out what it is.

Mine actually gets a lot of attention. Few weeks ago, I had a couple in their 70's driving a minivan stop in the grocery store parking lot to give me enthusiastic thumbs up. Yesterday, a girl delivering me curb side pickup at a BBQ restaurant said "I'm sure you already know this but SICK F***ING CAR!".

Last year was when a few 20-something year old girls started talking pictures while I was getting groceries.

I think it might be that you see waaay more Challengers in metro Detroit than you do Camaros. Don't know why but I think it's great!
