Just like you're pissed off right now. Calm down bro.
More than likely you've just mistakened my disgust for the POS GT and it's POS big brother, the GT350. LOL!! Nothing to be mad at when the SS and ZL1 has been and will continue to be kicking the Mustang's ass all day. But sure, if it makes you feel better, I'm really really mad... Big talk from an 11.8 sec Zl1. Be sure to keep it garaged when those “bros “ start coming out in numbers. Don’t want to end up on someone’s YouTube poster lol.

Faster than any Mustang that Ford has. Faster, less expensive, has more options, corners better, and looks better than the POS GT350R. And better than anything you got. LOL, yea I'm worried about a GT...that'll be the day. They can't even beat the SS and so far haven't beaten the non-R GT350.

Why are you getting angry? Calm down.
I thought it wasn't all about performance with Mustangs. I thought it was about how special they are and how they feel and the exhaust sound. Anyway, I'm not worried about some mid-12 second Mustang, including the $65K one that has markups and no options. But at least he'll feel faster and special and will enjoy his exhaust note while I'm blazing by. How fast is your 10 year old Trailblazer or whatever the hell you drive? |

an 11-14 A6 Mustang GT with a decent tune will given him a run for his money. and then they can take the money they saved by not buying a ZL1 and buy a blower and literally blow his doors and hair off. the only people truly impressed by the ZL1 are the people who were foolish enough to buy one.

The only people who are impressed by the Scatpack are those foolish enough to buy one. And the only people foolish enough to buy one are people who couldn't get a Hellcat. Congrats. If you really think a GT has some work for either of my cars then go buy one and step up man. Because your Scatpack nor the 5th Gen in your pic got anything. LOL in fact, I got the better version of both your cars LOL! So it goes without saying that if it can beat me then you haven't got a snowflake's chance walking on the surface of the sun. |

Back on topic. It seems that same day same dyno that the whp is close but the Camaro has a very nice torque advantage. Its most likely why the Camaro 60 fts better than the mustang and is still a tenth or so quicker. In my opinion The Camaro 5th gear ratio is the reason the mustangs are trapping a little higher. That 10 speed keeps them right in that powerband and allows them to backhalf better. Our 5th gear is straight trash for the quarter mile. It takes us out of the peak HP range and is why I believe we don't trap as well but still ET a little better. I feel like if GM puts the A10 in the 19 Camaro and we get a proper 5th gear, we will see better mph and a 10th or so ET improvement.

I'll back it up and say...I agree completely. I think the SS has a very slight advantage over the 18 GT, but just ever so slight. I'm talking a tenth or two. Then again, maybe b/c of that sweet A10 in the Mustang, they are dead even. Throw the A10 in the Camaro for 2019 and it will certainly be advantage Camaro again, but we can forget about the days of half a second or better advantage on the GT.
