Cool New Warranty Parts - but what are they from?
So I'm at the dealership today getting the plastic fuel rail covers replaced because at 4k miles, the CAMARO lettering was already flaking off so new ones were ordered. My service advisor asked me to come look at it after they were installed, and to my surprise, it certainly wasn't the look I was expecting (but I really like it much more with red covers vs red letters). The advisor was also surprised because he as well thought the pieces ordered had the red letters like in the first picture. Does anyone know what this is from? Mine is a '17 so I thought it might be for a different model year?

Looks like the dealer ordered the colored fuel rail covers.
They are an extra cost options for anyone that wants them. PART NO. 12669894/For use with LT1, Red https://www.chevrolet.com/performanc...maro/underhood

looks like I will be going the the dealer also as mine are flaking off.
Did you have any issues with them replacing them under warranty?
