**JDP Motorsports installs VR Pistons on ProCharged 2019 Camaro SS 1LE**

Over the course of the last few weeks we have had the pleasure of working on and tuning a refreshed 2019 Camaro SS 1LE that came to us with a P-1X ProCharger that base-lined at 563 RWHP and 488 RWTQ before we put it under the knife!

As many of you know, the LT1 is not the most forgiving when it comes to boost, the customer of this car was running a fair amount to achieve the numbers it was making, because of this the main goal of our project was to beef up his internals to handle a heavier load.

The primary piece that we installed on this build were the Vengeance Racing drop in Forged Pistons followed by our JDP Heads and Cam package, our JDP Series 1 7/8" American Racing Headers, an MSD Performance Intake Manifold, Mighty Mouse Oil Catch-Can, Alky Control Methanol Injection System and our own proprietary dyno and street tuning!

We Spent a lot of time creating a quality video to share with all of you guys! Enjoy!

Nice results... Any specific reason on choosing VR over GPI that most people use?
Love the 1LE with yellow calipers

Thank you! We helped him choose the Vengeance racing pistons because we have had good luck with their quality and they are great quality pistons!

It definitely was a clean spec, this one alone changes our view on the refresh front end for sure!

Awesome video. What CR pistons did you go with? 11.5 or 10.5? Also what did you gap the rings at?

Was this on the LT1 fuel system with just a cam and meth?

I doubt it...LT1 fuel injector won't support that much power. LT4's are close to maxed at that power with no meth.

Love that torque curve, exactly what a big pushrod v8 needs, a centri blower

He may be squeaking by on the LT1 fuel system, King. Before I added a cam and LT4 fueling, I was at 568/586 with just a ZL1 low side pump.

Did you see the Dyno? It made 756whp after JDP heads/cam/Pistons... LT1 injectors are not supporting that.

Didn't see the dyno. I agree there's no way the LT1 fuel system will support those numbers

These are 11.5:1 and .020 to .026 depending on ring location.

We didn't have any fueling issues with the Alky system on 91 octane...

The stock fuel system with our camshaft (32% Lobe) and Alky Control on 91 Octane.

Then it's basically relying on meth for fueling. Stock fuel system @ .80-.82 lambda runs out of fuel around 580whp on a honest Dyno. A bigger lobe cam will extend that out further, but the meth has to be covering the rest.

This is what I am trying to get away from on mine. I am going with port injection, it is super expensive but it will fuel whatever I want to do in the future.
