Reviving this thread... Where are members going these upcoming "winter" months?? Looking for possible destination/event ideas, both short or long range, to extend the season... Well, of course pending if all the planets align within the universe and "real life" graciously allows it!!! Worst case scenario we can live vicariously through others

After stretching out the season down at Road Atlanta in late Nov. Have hopes to "open" the season early at NJMP (Thunderbolt) w/CHIN next week if Mother Nature allows!?!? Anyone else looking to test their edges and skate some if they hold the event??

Been A-Xing with the Austin and San Antonio Autocross clubs for a couple months now and having a blast. Several more events are scheduled this year including this Sunday, May 19th at Circuit of the Americas (Lot H)...

Huge facility, so big there are two autox running on the same day. Due to holiday weekend, turnout may be low, so expect 8++ runs. All makes and models welcome.

If spectating, please be respectful and try not to take empty roads around as your personal road course, the area is highly patrolled by state police. While 60mph in our lot is OK, 35mph on surrounding roads is ticket for 10 over!!

Jealous!!! The local track here was/is offering a "Test Drive Membership" (5) days for $2,000 bucks, which would run with similar limited attendance. I guess it is basically a smaller version of the exclusive track membership. Sure, I'd probably consider it, but not knowing when/if the HPDE/TT circuit I run will get underway, I don't want to risk putting out the extra cha-ching. Enjoy your event!!!
