Update....Dam I hate dealers .. I hate them touching all over the car, hate their terribly inaccurate assessments ....ugh.
Brought car over for issue described with radio, handed me a print out about a known issue with IPhone 6 that happens during phone call... Not what I have ...sorry. I said ok if that is the case I will power up car for 2 weeks with out phone on, if the issue goes away...fine...if not you have issues...started car...same issue. I had him grab laptop to capture data, or it would have been lost and it and I would have another "finger pointing" situation.. They have the car...will advise if I hear anything ... |

Barry if it happened in the vette (of which you and I both had one), and it's happening again just eliminate the possible variable that it is your phone. My vette has been fine and now the Camaro is fine, however I don't pair my phone. I like it separate. Take your phone, whatever kind it is, out of the equation and see what happens?

Do the OBD loggers help any with intermittent bugs like this? I've been thinking about leaving one plugged in and paired to my phone to log data during the breakin period. Something like this should be emitting error codes, yes?
(If / when something happens, I'd like to go to the dealer with proof.) |

Update on Radio issue
Ok so they had this beast over night and were able to scrutinize the data which was sent to GM.....GM says we are sending another head unit, I had him reload all software but he said when he got in it to take it to body shop (had some heavy swirls to remove (while I watched ) and it failed .....will keep you posted on performance when the new head unit comes in.
