Excellent driving!

That was with traffic in NASCAR and never getting the most out of the car in the esses or south bend. I think a 2:01 is easily doable on P-Zeros. My car on P-Zero's @ VIR is something special. I didn't want to get out of the car. I'll post vids of the ZL1 and mine on slicks later this evening. I also took some in-car footage of the ZL1 1LE which I'll attempt to overlay with PDR (I know some guys have used race render I beleive.)
I've had good success with the free version of race render. You are capped to 3 min video clips if using the free version fyi. I use shift points and steering input to sync the videos (it can be tedious).

Well, for the price, it is hard to beat the value of an SS 1LE, especially given what the car is capable of with the easiest mod under the Sun: slicks . Albeit ZL1 1LE may respond to them nicely as well?

Nice driving I have been also using RaceRender for picture-in-picture video synchronization and very happy with it

Oh yeah, I already have a set of P-Zero's (305 front, 315 rear) for the ZL1 1LE, though the wheels are currently backordered.

2.02 a VIR is pretty insane for a 3800lb car!

Videos are messed up so not sure what approx lap times I was running. Only one car passed me in white until I switched to crappy street tires (started to cord the cup2's) and it was a Gen6 ZL1.

I forgot just how slow PCA white (ex-yellow) group is around here. Great group of people, just not as fast as Chin.. and the cones they setup this weekend in T17... ugh.
Yep I gave you a point-by in one of the sessions going into T7 (https://youtu.be/hy3D5b04AK4?t=6m20s). It was my first time driving the 996TT and the day could've gone better. Boiled the supposed high-temp brake fluid we had put in within ~5 laps first session, and without having the computer system needed to do a complete brake flush I had to take it easy each session. That combined with using Bridgestone Potenza S02a tires meant I was only a few seconds faster than I've lapped in a '98 Boxster

Rarely see my car from that angle! And that next lap I was black flagged for a "late pass" (it wasn't, it was complete before the braking zone of T7 I just didn't bother moving back over).

Sorry to hear about the brake issues. I experienced a little myself but they were minor compared to that. On Sunday I was a full 7-8 seconds a lap slower due to a tire change so yeah.

Videos sort of play on my work laptop and I was generally running 2:35-2:37 on clean-ish laps Saturday though, not too bad for a overweight Focus.

Yeah I actually came in due to losing the brakes and saw you in pit lane, I was wondering if they maybe called you in because they saw the dirt kick up in T7 and mistakenly thought you put 2 off.

According to Harry's Laptimer I was running ~2:44, but I never was totally happy with any lap. It felt like every time I'd start to get into a rhythm, the brake pedal would go lifeless and my session would be over.

Oh he’s driving it the most! He loved the P-Zero slicks on his GT4, and is super excited to sample on the ZL1. He isn’t quite the banzai out the box driver my brother and I are. He pretty methodically added pace throughout the weekend at VIR and was lapping sub 2:10 by the end of the weekend.

Fantastic! Is your Bro sticking with his Pcar, or making a switch to a Bowtie as well?! His ZL1 1LE lap was balls out for sure. So was yours on slicks

EDIT: your car looked superbly balanced and composed, while the ZL1 1LE looked a bit "scrappy" on the vids anyway. Feedback on handling "feel" of both?
