Nah, he was just kidding however he had a big smile on his face and said it really drove great. I'll put a few hundred miles on it this week end so by Monday I'll already have 500 miles on it.

Becky, I'll still check in to see when my xcamaro will be built. I like the red as it reminds me of my old supercharged g8gt. Drove it about 250 miles this week and the driver that picked it up on the dealer trade drove it 260, so we are just a tick over 500 miles. I used my gm card and got 1500 off and for some reason I also qualified for another capital one card and they took off another 500. So that worked out pretty well plus my trade and some cash down we are good to go for a while. They car is really fast and I haven't pushed it very much at all. Short lower rpm burst, gonna be a ride after break in. Drive great on the hwy and averaged 27 mpg to the lake and back to my house. Not too shabby at all. Now I have to clean it up again. I'll get some pics up after clean up today.

Looking forward to it. I remember your G8 quite well, also that badass Malibu too.

I went to the Chevy dealer yesterday to look at the new Camaro, salesman told me they don't have any.... meanwhile when I drove in they had 6 sitting out front lol. I didn't waste any more of my time there, especially since I'm not buying. I just wanted to check it out.

Zodiac, this car is the real deal. I feels as fast as my supercharged g8gt. The shifts are killer, its got this little pop when it shifts and its about 6500 rpm instead of 6000 on the 15ss. The NPP is the rear cool deal, its sounds bitchin. I do miss my g8 and this car really reminds of it. The trunk is stupid small as the back seat is. I can't hardly get my golf bag in and I have to take my driver out and put it inside the car. The car drives so much better then the gen5, now I see why the caddy's handle so well. Can't wait to get it to the track for some 1/4 mile passes. My best pass on my g8 was 11.86@116 w/drag radials, so I'm shooting to pass that number with this car.

Nice. I'm enjoying my '15 5.0 for now. I have no urge to switch but continue to follow what happens. I'm not quite a fan yet. There is no denying that the Camaro is a win for GM. Shouldn't be hard to beat your G8's numbers and that's scary lol.

Its still a joy to drive and the shifts are great at wot, firm and quick. Paddle shifting is not as quick or in the manual mode with the shifter. Its hard not to want to put the hammer down all the time. However the back tires on these are not cheap and I sell tires and wheels for a living.
