Ok, so 1-2yrs of this... enjoy your 5th gen's gentlemen... the 7th gen is coming and if GM is listening - they will need to hit a grand slam.

They won't look to us for answers. They will look at poor sales, and then scratch their heads.
Then they will either have the light bulb go off, and design a winner, or they will copy another car maker, and call it good.
I agree with the earlier post, they could definitely go further retro, and really have ford and other manufacturers reeling to catch up.
I also think Nissan could do a retro Z though.
I also heard Lincoln may be coming out with a new continental with suicide doors.
Its all about hitting the right retro note.
Obviously the T bird was not a huge mover, but in its defense it was just a 2 seater, so small market anyways.
I think the retro design of the mustang in 05 was a huge hit though.

I like the overall look of those but i cant get around to the convertibles.. nvr been a fan... ruins the lines of car with the tops up imo but a 240 with a rb26 is one of my bucket list cars

Agreed but still on the fence about the SS... the RS looks fine with me and its gonna take more than just painting the black section to make that thing look decent

I was thinking the RS package would be available on the SS. Reading back through the information I see it's not the case. Nonetheless, I love the '19 SS.

I'll wait until I see the car in person before I make an opinion. I wasn't a fan of the 2014 refresh when I saw the first pictures but now I think the '14/'15 is a good looking car. Same thing goes with the 6th gen Camaro. I didn't really like it in pictures but now it's a good looking car.
I believe the problem is GM's official photos on their websites. Has anyone ever noticed how fake GM's photos look? They always have a fake, computer generated look about them. There's never any depth too.
Just wait until you see the car in person. I think a lot of people will change their mind.
