You can shoot em in Florida too. In Illinois, you cant shoot them unless you get a permit first AND they've shot you TWICE! |

I hiked at a trailhead in Fort Worth where a 4-runner plastered with all the usual "don't tread on me" garb had just gotten smashed-and-grabbed. Found the owner out on the trail that had already been informed by several others. His comment was "he's lucky I wasn't there". Lol, that's the point, they waited till he left. Unless he's going to sit there the whole time instead of do what he came there to do, it's a pretty empty threat. And criminals aren't rational like you and I, they don't think "if I do x, it will have y consequences". They don't think that far ahead.

I call BS on this. There is nowhere in the US that doesn't allow you to defend yourself from someone threatening to kill you with a weapon.

It goes above the police, the local DA is the issue.

In many municipalities, you’re 100% right. Seems like some voters are finally starting to figure that out…

California sucks so bad right now.. the thieves r repeatedly doing this because there’s no reprocussions.. anytime someone is caught, rather then the state pushing it and making them do time for it there letting them go instead and saying they want them to reform I stead.. ok, well after they get caught doin the same thing over and over when do they stop giving them a chance to reform.. and then the dumbass law about, if your car is broken into u have to prove that the doors were locked.. I think the broken window on the ground is prety fkn evident enough.. damn I hate Cali

Mine was stolen in Dallas in October. Insurance paid out. Still not sure what method he used to get it. Car was recovered, driver was arrested, car smelled like black & milds and was plasti-dipped on the front and rear end, back tires were brand new and now they were down to the metal.
Since that's happened and I have my replacement, I came across this relay and go very curious: https://www.mobilistics.com/nostart-...p-immobilizer/

A simple pull fuse shuts down onstar, it is a useless marketing bullshit company.

Yeah I see they support up to 2023, probably the same relay for all years. I don't think I've seen anyone mention it here but see a lot of Ram/Dodge people use them.
