Word is that is not due to corona. The reason for that is something to do with resources at the track and the ability to provide for a certain level of event quality. Nelson is still running track days May and June.

They also "SUSPENDED" TNIA there on May 28th, per the current schedule.

Where is the official announcement on Nelson TT? I've read discussions on it, but I've not seen the official notice. It is still listed on the SCCA TT site.

Yeah, when they posted the schedule I said they shouldn't be holding a TT national there anyway. That track and its facilities are not up to par. It should have been scheduled at Pitt Race again just like last year.

Heyward Wagner posted it on the SCCA TT Facebook page. And I questioned why and how they could cancel so early. He gave a decent reason, I wanted to post more in return, but i refrained. He said the local region will probably pick up the date. Well why can't the local region people step in to help with the National event? If it's really just because the National TT group is short staffed that would be an easy solution...

Yeah i will definitely be attending one of the Auto Interest days there now. I was thinking of not going because i was going to be there a few days before at TNiA, but they made that decision for me.

CHIN updated this afternoon some uncertainty regarding Mid-Ohio:

"Mid-O gave us full confidence to go ahead with registration beginning 4/27 - they had clearance initially. Then, OH governor made changes, and now Mid-O has to get a new clearance. Under current conditions at the time of this writing, Mid-Ohio is not permitted to have track activity right now. We are optimistic to get a new order from OH governor's office that relaxes restrictions before 5/24."

NCM

NCM Motorsports Park cancelled the HPDE event on May 30 & 31 today. This was done by the direction of the Kentucky governor Comrade Beshear. He continues the economic shutdown.

Have you run the Megacourse before? I thought that would be a pretty sweet event.

I have not, only the typical "double infield". I agree, but honestly anything is looking that way at this point in my current desperate condition
