Nice! Got photos of what that looks like?

Received the part from ShopChevyParts today and quickly installed:

Here's the aluminum close up, the bar is very light:

Comparison with the BMR strut tower bar:

The GM mounts to the car differently than the BMR. The BMR mounts solely on the strut towers, while the GM bar screws into the existing bars running into the firewall for more of a triangulation. This is the inside bolt on each side of the bar.

All done, before/after:

The BMR bar is noticeably heavier by a few lbs over the GM bar. The difference in feel with the BMR was on turning into inclines or declines. The car was a little flatter up front. However, it's mostly a visual mod and thats why I switched over to the GM part. Plus, I just like keeping factory parts on the car.

I'm trying to decide on a rear spoiler for the car. The factory SS one looks great, but I'd like something a little more aggressive.

Since I have the Fifty package, I want to also bring the striping over to the new spoiler.

My current options are:

1). ZL1 spoiler painted in NGM with striping applied. (Easiest option - bolts right in)

OR

2.) LT Trunk with GM blade spoiler and a Wicker Bill extension all painted in NGM with the Fifty striping applied.

I have pricing for the first option, will need it for the 2nd.

What do you guys think?

Ordered the 1LE suspension kit and the 1LE trailing arms from ThatGMPartsGuy. Will post pics and a review after they're in and installed.

1LE suspension kit and trailing arm set arrived today. The box was huge and most of the weight has to be the one solid swaybar haha.

The splash guards also arrived along with a hand riveter so I can install the fronts.

Now to find a reputable service center at a local dealer to do the install and reflash the shocks.

That's everything mechanical the 1LE comes with over the SS (minus the eLSD w/ PTM, 6 piston brakes, short shifter, wheels and tires).

At least for now...I'm expecting bushings or little stuff to be found out later

Splash guards pre-painted:

Thanks to ThatGMPartsGuy and Trunk Monkey Parts

Odds and ends...

I put on the rear splash guards:

Before:

After:

Tire coverage is pretty good:

Also, I replaced the dealer license plate frame with a Chevy Performance one:

Anytime! I need to find out when it's supposed to be released. I've seen it on pre-order for months.

I've been modding my 50th as well, I would like to have that shifter when it is released.

Just did the ZL1 start button. Used the aluminum ring from the normal start button too.

ZL1 on the right, factory on the left.

combined

dash came apart easily, three screws and a trim tool. Also tightened down some looser dash screws.

Matches the knobs for the radio and a/c controls more now...but nothing as necessary as the bow ties and tail lights were.
