That dyno sheet says that the car makes 430 ft lb or torque at 35,000 rpm if you read the bottom of the graph lol.

Most turbos spin at 100,000+ rpm. I think it's just a typo...a funny one. |

I am thinking 50,000 plus or minus ten or fifteen depending on style and size.

Turbo speeds vary greatly. It's kinda hard to pin down, but I'd say 150,000 or less is about as typical as it is and it depends on a ton of factors, like turbo size, engine size and style and more. |

More road test data on the ATS-V: http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...t_test_review/
Awesome performance #s. I suspect the gap between auto and manual will be smaller with the LT1 (similar to the gap on Stingray). Maybe the auto starts w/ turbos spooled up while manual cannot?? |

bullshit.....the only thing we love on US cars are their rumbling V8īs !
unfortunately a cant see a ATS-V on our Chevy/Chrysler dealershop....drove C7 and found it not bad but usable engine rev band is definately smaller than the Ford Coyote. Therefore yes most or all of our sporty cars on autobahn have now turboīs.....but a inline 6 (BMW M4) or V6 even with turboīs didīnt have such a nice sound ! only thing your V8īs need are factory superchargers not only for the high end models which are expensive in europe. greetings from germany |
