Get your new build code.
I didn't know that. I figured it would stay the same, just updated the options. I am going to do that right now. Thanks for letting me know that.

I don’t think they have any way of knowing what future allocations they’re getting, but I may be mistaken on that. It is true that they may get an allocation for a V6 but not a SS. It’s really a crap shoot when a dealer will get an allocation, unfortunately.

Ugh, so frustrating. I just recently sent out some emails to two of the three bigger dealerships in Ohio, to feel them out and see what they say about their allocation situation. I do know they have allot more camaro's coming in and going out than the dealership that I am currently dealing with so maybe I will get lucky.

They can have a strong feeling about it with their regional GM rep. They do meet with those guys and get a feeling for what kinds of allocations they are getting.

Hey! My 2SS has been in 1100 status since June 2022. My dealer tells me they can see where GM is doing something behind the scenes, but still no real movement. Any input on dealerships in the DMW with no markups and has allocations? Thanks!

It's like I jumped into a time machine and went right back to the same time last year. The same questions being asked. Bummer.

But do those reps even really know? Clearly “someone” knows what dealers are getting what allocations. If Dodge could do it for the Charger/Challenger, then there’s surely the same or similar system in place for the Camaro allocations.

Yes, they do.

Perhaps the fine folks here could educate me:

I have a 2023 Colorado order at Status 3000. I am immune to constraints at this point, correct? Even for dealer-installed equipment such as floor liners/splash guards?

I assume the GM process is the GM process regardless.

Judging from earlier posts, you should be in the clear at 3000 status, all part and component allocations for a car/truck are ensured by production control at this point. LPOs aren't part of this equation, there were cases when Camaros waited at the dealership for LPOs, I remember reading about one or two cases when the customer took delivery, then returned to the dealership weeks later to get LPO items installed.
