Thanks, just looking at the picture I'm reminded I still need to find a 10 Rib reliable blower belt. I need to look on Gates website again. Going to do some logging in the morning when its a little cooler, hot and windy today so just wasting time.

I’ve had good luck with the Dayco line so if you can’t seem to find the exact Gates belt you want, you can check this link out too:

Thanks, I did notice yesterday that the belt had moved a groove over on the lower pulley. I'm still running an 8 rib belt on the THPSI 10 rib pulley system. I put the belt back on centered and the lower had moved to the front groove and the other pulleys were still in the middle. The belt feels tight doing my normal squeeze test like I've always done but it must be stretching under hard acceleration. I need a 1/2 inch shorter belt to get my tensioner a little closer to full extension. Nobody has one in that length except the one company you and I tried and your belt broke, so I'm not going to run their belt even though I have one that's a perfect fit, I don't want to have it break as yours did. I may just have to buy another 8 rib until someone makes what I need. Mine is 91 inches and I need about a 90.50 or even a 90.75 would work. Gates and Dayco drop down to the 89 inch zone so pretty much screwed unless I go to a smaller upper pulley which I may have to do at some point.

The green belts are grippier, but stretch more than regular belts. The RPM belts arent supposed to stretch at all.

The above applies to Gates. Not sure about other brands.

Dont throw a belt... so much nastiness caused to stuff when mine threw...

I've generally used the Gates over the last 6 years. I have run the Dayco in the past on my 2016 SS. I'm going to look at the RPM belts also, they don't stretch but they are easier to break at higher rpm. The Rpm has limited sizes in the 10 rib, just looked and none even close to what I need.
