One thing is for certain, if you use something with friction modifier, its a safe choice in anything.

You wish... these newer manuals only say "See your dealer" instead of giving you a part number. Just checked the 2024, it's the same.

Yep. My 2024 owners manual states "see your dealer"

In a standard limited slip spring pressure maintains clutch engagement until axle rotation overcomes the friction, modifiers prevent the clutch pack from chattering. the E-Diff can engage the clutch from 0 - 100 percent or anywhere between via separate computer controlled hydraulic circuit so no chattering. That said having it will likely not cause a problem but it's not required as the clutches are in another housing. Mobil1, AMSOIL and Royal Purple all make excellent 75W-90 without the additive, GM sources its gear oils from various suppliers. I use this with excellent results on my 1LE and Sierra's locker. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I just used the 19352759 in my differential and didn’t use the additive and was having a panic attack. Sounds like I’m good? Also do you ever have to change the elsd fluid that is in the separate compartment?

A great question to ask.

Old thread but how how much did the people that had this done at the dealership pay for the rear diff service?

I supplied my own Redline differential fluid below (2 qts). The dealer charged 0.60 labor hours, plus fluid disposal fee and tax cost $70.91 total. They let me watch the procedure and they did a fine job of it.

I called 2 dealers fairly close to me and was quoted $200 and $250.

You are good. The ATF circuit for the ELSD is not really user serviceable as any air has to be purged by cycling with the Tech 2, that said it's a hydraulic/cooling function so it's not exposed to contaminants.

I just did this 1704 miles on my 23.

and the oil change too

I have a couple of lifts so it was very easy for me, but would be doable on jackstands, that pump worked mint.
