Outside Camaro theme
My friend has Chrysler Town and Country.
Here in Europe Chrysler Grand Voyager 3.8 RT with LPG. I don't know why, but the car always starts at the second attempt. Coils, sparks, cables are replaced, but the problem still persists. I have no idea why it started to cause problems. Any idea please? |

I would it assume it has to do with the lpg conversion kit. It starts the car on petrol , then switches LPG. I'm guessing its taking the second key turn to get it to switch to petrol. One would need to diagnose if it's a electronic or mechanical issue.

Some or all? of the LPG systems have a vacuum safety valve thing on them. IIRC it's built into the big round regulator. So the pressurized LPG doesn't just constantly leak out into the engine and garage. It must sense a vacuum to flow. Some of them have a push button prime to manually over ride this. I'm sure they could put an electronic solenoid to prime it for starting but likely the conversion kit doesn't bother with the added complexity and expense of that.

Thank you very much for ideas gentlemen's.
I admit that I'm not a very big LPG fan. So I know practically nothing about this system. I really appreciate any idea that would help. |

There are many vehicles here in the US, gasoline and otherwise, that won't start on the first turn of the key. That's life.
