TPMS

I plan to change tires.
TPMS is from 2009, so I'm counting on the end of their life. How to proceed with TPMS exchange?
I found sensors on Rockauto ,, No programming required. Install sensor and follow factory OEM relearn procedure. "
What does it mean please?

I heard it's a pain. I would just take it to a tire shop with the programming tool.

Try this:

The TPMS matching process is outlined below:

1. Set the parking brake.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON/RUN with the engine off.
3. Go to the TPM vehicle information screen on the DIC. See Driver Information Center (DIC) on page 4-27. Press set to relearn the sensors. The horn sounds twice to signal the receiver is in relearn mode and Tire Learning Active message displays on the DIC screen.
4. Start with the driver side front tire.
5. Remove the valve cap from
the valve stem. Activate the TPMS sensor by increasing or decreasing the tire’s air pressure for 10 seconds, or until a horn chirp sounds. The horn chirp, which can take up to 30 seconds to sound, confirms that the TPMS sensor identification code has been matched to this tire position.
6. Proceed to the passenger side front tire, and repeat the procedure in Step 5.
7. Proceed to the passenger side rear tire, and repeat the procedure in Step 5.
8. Proceed to the driver side rear tire, and repeat the procedure in Step 5.
9. After hearing the confirming horn chirp, for the driver side rear tire, the horn sounds two more times to signal the tire learning mode is no longer active. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK/OFF.
10. Set all four tires to the recommended air pressure level as indicated on the tire and loading information label.
11. Put the valve caps back on the valve stems.

Here's the process I read and saved for doing the OEM TPMS matching; it's basically the same as HyperV posted:

1. Press the “Menu” button on your turn signal lever

2. Change the display on the dash until you see the tire pressure information

3. Press the “Set” button on the end of your turn signal lever to start the
recalibration. It will ask you if you would like to start the recalibration, select
“Yes”. The horn will sound twice informing you the process has started

4. Start with the driver front tire and release 3-4 PSI, the horn will sound once

5. Go to passenger front tire, release 3-4 PSI, the horn will sound once

6. Go to the passenger rear tire, release 3-4 PSI, the horn will sound once

7. Go to the drive rear tire, release 3-4 PSI, the horn will sound once, and then
twice to signal sync is complete

8. Check the dash to confirm the “Service Tire Monitor System” message has cleared

9. Refill the tires to the proper pressure

Another option is to take it to a dealer. Mine at least will do it for free while you wait anytime, with no appointment necessary. Just drive into the service bay, and ask them to relearn your sensors. Takes about 5 min start to finish.

Insist on OEM sensors unless you want to buy a "universal" TPMS tool.

But the best recommendation I can give you is: buy the tires at your GM dealer and ask for new sensors. My dealer's price on tires and installation was pretty close to internet and/or third party shops, and the result was flawless.

2010 easy. Just a process of letting air out and then inflating. Turn signal flashes for which tire tpms to learn next. Iirc, it needs 10lb air pressure difference.

Its harder getting sensors off the rims than it is to program it. If you snap the old sensor off of the inside rim after tire is off rest of valve stem pulls out like normal. Just grab it with pair of channel locks and twist its a lil brass tube it breaks easy

HyperV117 and Welker2: That sounds clear. With that, I won't be a problem and I could do it myself. Thank you

HDRDTD and Rock-It Man: Remember, I'm from Europe.
Here is not Chevrolet as Chevrolet
Local Chevrolet is Aveo, Spark, Cruze, Laceti and so on
So I have to do this myself like most thing.

Do you have any tested parts at a reasonable price?

Thank you all for your willingness to help

Not a pain pretty easy
Just a tip pull all the stem caps prior to doing reset it saves on valueable time between each tire. I also find letting air out vs putting air in is quicker on learning.

Can anyone confirm the correctness of the part number for my Camaro please...? 2010 2SS LS3 from year 2009, US version.

I chose this part.
https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...888&cc=1444223

I'm confused by so many frequencies to choose from.
315/314.9 MHz, 433MHz, 315 MHz....

Thanks for every help.

I found this older thread about what sensors to use for the 2010s. It seems like there was a change mid year in what frequency these cars used. The replacement sensors you found on rockauto may work but I am not sure. Hope this helps you find what you are looking for

Well ... this is going to be a bigger problem than I expected.
I will it carefully read and see what comes out of it.
If it were possible to order a part directly according to the VIN, it would save a lot of time.

Thank you for your help

I'm in the same boat. Finding the correct sensor for us 2010 owners is a bitch. Enough of an issue, I'm going to wait till they finally give out, then do without.
