another rattle

2017 2ss A8 with mrc, just under 10k miles and just recently I have noticed a rattle when the car is not fully warmed up and only upon moderate acceleration. once the car is warmed up, no rattle. it also does not rattle at idle.

any ideas where to start? it is not a vibration and I keep the car in sport mode

Is it only under acceleration or over bumps as well?

Only under acceleration. I don’t notice it over bumps.

a bit more info, cold startup, car in park, rev engine and no rattle. went from sport to tour and tried it again and no change, no rattle
for first 7-8 minutes of driving, if I gas it over 3k rpm I get the rattle until I let off. It does this in tour, sport and track.
after 8 minutes, rattle is gone no matter the rpm.
no rattle lower than 3k rpm ever, no rattle going over bumps.
it sounds like it is coming from the passenger side of the car, my daughter said she hears it from the back area of the car.

I am going to empty out the trunk of all items, empty glove compartment and center and also remove my radar detector. that will make sure that it is not something I added.

that was my first guess but wouldn't it rattle at idle and when revving?
and my understanding is that the NPP valves are consistent, meaning that it does not go away. Or, am I off here?
