Things you dislike about your Camaro

I thought this would be an interesting thread..since we have a thread on interesting things about our cars.

What are some things that you dislike or are pet peves about your Camaro?

While I haven’t had my SS for long time yet, there are some things that I don’t like.

1. The way that I have my seat and steering wheel positioned for my style of driving, the speedo and tach are blocked by either my arm/hand or the steering wheel itself. So I shift by sound, and rely on the digital readout for speed.

Like you, I use the digital readout for speed for the most part, when cruising at least... on a run, I keep my eye on the tach.

I like my steering wheel low, and I also don't like that top portion blocks part of the speedo and tach. I have to raise it just over the 'lines', and the wheel sticks up over and into the field of view...

As for my primary pet peeve, I hate that I can't keep the darn thing clean and dust free! Dang Riverside winds, and with all them fires going on... Lotta black and the hood - typically, I've got a layer of fine dust the day after I wash it! After sitting for a few days, its like it went through a dust storm...

I dislike how stuff collects under the spoiler.

I also dislike that I have a slow leak in the right rear tire that I am too lazy to get fixed.

Lol, that’s my other peve, but I didn’t list it cause the car is black, and we all know black is literally impossible to keep clean. I’ve spent hours washing, clay bar, and waxing, just to stick it in the garage only to come out the next day to go for a cruise, and it have a fine layer of dust on it .

About my only pet peeve I had was how lackluster the passenger side dash looks. It's literally just a huge expanse of........... Plastic! Last one was the fact it threw a/c belts like they were just tied on.

I never liked the gauges as the steering wheel blocks them. I ended up buying an 11 with HUD and have never looked at them in 3 years of ownership

Same same. Going to ceramic coat mine here in a bit. Hoping it helps shed the dust off when driving.

The only things I never liked since buying my camaro is no power seat on passenger side and the brake dust. But took care of the brake dust right away.

THAT'S ALL FOLKS

Love my car but I wish I bought a manual/LS3.

I hate how the L99 costs so much more to cam than the LS3.

Yeah, this is just a horribly designed not user friendly vehicle.

But damn if she don’t look good, runs good is fun to drive!
