DRL... LED or HID?
My new new 1LT has a shared DRL and high beam bulb.... So my assumption is that the bulb only receives low voltage for the DRL. That said, is it enough juice to " light off" an LED or HID? Anyone have an idea? Much appreciated!

I wouldn't recommend an HID for the high-beam location is also used at a half-power setting for the DRL's. An LED replacement will give you the look you are going for, but won't give you nearly as much usable output with your high beams.
HIDs cannot function properly on the half-power DRL setting. They require a constant flow of electricity to maintain the electrical arc. Feel free to give us a call if you have any questions: (314) 205-3033 Nick C.

Yeah the HIDs are not a good idea I've had nothing but trouble with the kit I had installed.
