My suggestion then would be to try this one http://www.wallaceracing.com/hpcalculatorquarter.php as it has reference to rwhp in the result. The other ones on there seem to be estimates of engine hp. However, even this one can give some crazy numbers. Example of crazy numbers for my SS in bolt-on trim: unported MSD, unported 95 t/b, Rotofab, and E85 tune=522/527 rwhp? Pretty ridiculous. More reasonable result for my SS when it was bone-stock, it came up with 396 rwhp from the ET, and 416 rwhp from the MPH. Within a couple weeks of running the car bone stock (same general area and the same time of year as well) I had a dyno test done. The stock dyno result was 395.78 SAE-corrected rwhp and the observed was 408 rwhp (SAE 0.97). This calc does not adjust for weather, so that's why I'm mentioning the actual hp, because that is what affects your actual times and speeds.

Not trying to be a dick but 480 rw on a mustang dyno with those mods is just not realistic. Did you get a baseline first?

Traps may be a couple mph low but there are multiple reasons why that could be. Log it next time and see.

Anyone venture to guess why it's "short a few mph" ?

given that it went almost 95 to the 1/8 id say its in the tuning. its an auto car, "driving it" is out of the equation. it's hard to say without seeing a log or any other data.

The pic in my post was his wing spoiler. My bet is on that.

I'm no drag expert but I am just sharing it for others and my track experience. What do you guys think? Do you think with a DR, i would hit 11.3-11.5? Do you see room for improvement? I am running my car on staggered 19s with 285/35 front and 325/30 with Continental ECS. I am mostly a road course guy but I like going to the drag strip since the masses like to show these type of numbers.

SN: I was expecting a good run with the Modded Caprice but his tire fell off...

Funny! did you win?

But I am not sure you are FBO. I had the same mods as you but with a ported MSD and a M6 on my SS I ran about the same as you but with 1-2 more MPH. If you are an auto you should be faster. Good choice on the LT2 IM. I won't do another MSD on my LT1.

Check out the drag forum. They can help.

yeah i figured as much. i don't see 1LE ZL1 cars slowing down that much from the wing, but it's not something i really follow, either.

It may not help with 1320' MPH, but if you get the car up to 160 MPH you can achieve lift off.

Yes I did. Baseline at 405 and those numbers are realistic, I have a dyno sheet to prove those mods from 93 tuned to e85. The same mods on my car with any Camaro is between 470 - 490 on any camaro. Maybe 500 if M6.

Lol yes I did win Fraxum. I referenced your build quite a bit. The only thing I am missing is what ATI Under Drive Pulley to be considered "FBO" or you referring to something else? I know FBO differs from p2p.

I meant I thought FBO was all out. Including: weight removal, Drag Pack, straight pipes and other smaller tricks where short of a cam, head or displacement change the car is a race car.

I could have that wrong. Flame suit on!
