6.5 Gen flex fuel install

Pin 38 on these newer camaros has a black piece that you have to push through the other side instead of the gray piece that you pull out. As i went to install it i did this and it never came out the other side.. Do i have to pull off the front blue cover to get it out or do i keep pushing until it falls out? Thanks in advance...

And your sensor works fine?

Works getting remote tuned as we speak. When I opened up the connector I had to second guess myself too because there seemed to be more wires and no grey plugs.

Yes, take the blue cover off, push thru ( break it loose) the black slug, I never saw mine fall out. But look thru the pin location and you can see daylight so you will know when it drops out. I have not had my car tuned yet, and have been running the car for a month with the E85 sensor installed and wired up and no CEL or side affects.

I installed mine and had it tuned over the weekend and filled up with E85 and seems to be running great so maybe the black piece is just lost inside my PCM connector forever lol
