My fallback is that when I go to the road course or drags, I'll flash the 104 u/l tune which can be as cool or hot as we want it to be. Of course, at the drags there's a ton of downtime between runs. Also, Bandimere's staging lanes are ~100 or more yds long with a severe downhill slope so you can coast all the way to the stop sign without cranking.

As I said in a previous post, if this route doesn't work out, I'll do a larger blower. Everything I've done to the car will work with a larger blower like a 2650, and I would need to add a high side pump. Of course I would sell the ported blower and recoup something
You ask for my opinion then get defensive. I am not saying the ported blower is a waste. I was simply trying to explain the differences you would see going to a larger unit. Stock ported blower has it's place. Not everybody cares about needing every last bit of power on back to back pulls. Your average owner might only make one pull each time he/she gets the car out.

I have tested, logged, and tuned, 3 different superchargers on 1 car on the street. I have data logs and the tuning files on my laptop with the proof. You can choose to believe who you want...but remember I am not taking your money. I am offering free advice based on my independent testing on my own free time. Good Luck

You have misinterpreted my post. I'm not defensive about anything but rather was simply pointing out that the new set of mods based on a ported blower is underway now and there's no turning back. If they get me to where I'm trying to go, great. If not, I'll add more boost.

Is E85 readily available in your area? If so, you could drop your boost a pound or two, run E60 and make similar power with less heat and less overall stress on your motor.
I live in fear that E85 will go away at some point. If it does, I'll probably open my motor back up and install lower compression pistons.

Boosting an engine not originally designed for it (LT1) is always dangerous.

If I had purchased an LT1, I would have maxed the design thru custom valve train, heads, Long tubes, Hi-flow cats, custom heat exchangers, and air inlet
