I love my big, fat, Scat Pack Shaker-pig of a Challenger!

The result is still the same and stupid regardless of how you do it, and people don't know the difference of a car with "brute force" or one popping the clutch. And that's what you care about right? Showing off to other people? Meanwhile you burnt off 500 dollars worth of rubber for no reason and look like an idiot.

Guess I don't get it.

not the point. The Camaro is more than a big ol' musclecar that can do burnouts.

and the challenger isn't.

Yep. +1

The Camaro short film posted by Ryan was incredible. What do you know, Chevy can produce a kick ass ad.

But, that Dodge ad posted by the OP, wow. I don't understand how anyone here wouldn't think that would be fun to do?

True, I'm not going to do it with my own car because of the expense, but if the tires are gone and I'm about to buy a new set, that would be a different story.

I see Chevy commercials like those of Liberty Mutual insurance crap on TV. Or can be compared to the worst of the car insurance commercial list.

Very true, and why I bought mine, but to the average person that never sees the track the Challenger is a more appealing option, especially when the perception is that it's a more powerful, faster, and better looking car. And Dodge does a very good job of selling this.

EXACTLY... PERCEPTION... reality is the SS is faster than a scat pack to 60 and in the 1/4 as well. The challenger weighs 100s of lbs more and is far less aerodynamic. And at a circuit it's laughable.

And that's a challenger forum lol. If you are on your phone you have to keep hitting previous till you get to the numbers

Chevrolet can't follow suit and assume the Camaro will sell itself by reputation like that unless they like staying in 3rd place.

Yeh...Camaro ads suck big time. Replace all Challenger ads and stick a Camaro in its place and you will see sales go up. LOL Chevy can't figure that out.

Personally its nice to know my Camaro will corner, but its likely it will never see a track. Plus I find it a lot more fun banging gears through a flat out run on a straight open private road with no traffic. I also think thats the appeal of the Challenger.

Did you guys see that new badass Corvette ad?

Anyway, I can only guess that they don't feel the need to spend $$ on advertising their performance division products.

There's a saying, "perception is reality". We know the true reality, so why does the Challenger outsell the Camaro?
