SS Brake Upgrade - same size

What is available as a real upgrade to the SS Brakes without changing the size of the rotors/calipers? Are materials of construction or drilling/slotting significant enough an improvement to be worth the cost. I run 18" rims in the winter for snow tires, so I don't want to go bigger, I just want to go better - if it is possible. It'll be mostly a Daily Driver, but some track events are planned, so want to be sure I have a bit more bite.

Who are the reliable makers out there?
What are the best options?

Feel free to point to an existing thread, but I couldn't find one.

Thanks!!

I have done 3 track days on the powerstop track day pads. They work great and have good stopping power and modulation.

Brakes are mechanically fine... they DO however require more cooling.

I purchased Titanium backing plates and ducting for the brakes to keep em cool.

Caliper and rotors are fine and will not get you any benefit with same-size upgrades.
