Ill wait for the markup to go down before jumping on board the dexos 2 mobil. Been using mobil 1 euro formula 0w-40 the last two oil changes, $36 for 10 qts via amazon. My car loves the stuff.

Good oil but not even Dexos 1 rated. I would use other Mobil ones that are d1 rated if you are worried about warranty.
$36 is for 5 quarts unless I missed something.

you are correct, 36 for a 5 qt jug. The euro formula is a great synthetic, even though its not dexos rated. Anyway, just figured Id put it out there for those who want the correct oil weight from a reputable company, minus the price gouge.

Airfuel is right about forfeiting your motor's warranty. If your motor has a problem, they ask you for receipts and you show one for a non-dexos oil it's likely your claim will be denied.

Also, the ESP oil is a newer, better formulation.

Not worried about warranty coverage, and if I were, digital receipts are easily manipulated (Hypothetically. )
Besides, plenty of people use non dexos brands, and im sure plenty have had warranty repairs with no issue. Havent heard of a denied powertrain warranty due to non dexos oil.

Look for GM part number 19370233. I got it from a Chevy dealer 1 city over @ $8.50 1L bottles. Picked up 11 bottles and the PF64 filter for $108 out the door.
