What was this link supposed to lead to? It kind of looks like it's supposed to apply a discount but it appears that it just redirects to the normal order page.

Also, forgive me that I didn't read through this entire thread, but is the basic process we get enough orders on the fronts and they will start making the rears and then we just order those at that time?

What is the overall discount supposed to be or is this even technically a "group buy" kind of situation?

The link will apply a discount at checkout.

Numbers have been surpassed. The rear design has been compete and ACS is in the tooling phase now. Hoping to see them start shipping in the next month. The link provides a $20 discount at checkout. Once you order the fronts you will be added to the list for rears. ACS knows who's ordering via that link and these peeps will be contacted when the rears are ready. Another $20 discount will be applied to the rears. Essentially you get the flaps for $179.00/set.
You must order the fronts via the flap as an individual, but, as a group, we needed 35 peeps to commit to the front flaps before ACS would make the rears.

Update from ACS: I asked if he was on schedule to start shipping at the 8 weeks he had indicated and how we would all be contacted. His response below.


"Looking good, mold is being machined, so things are moving nicely.

I have set pre-orders for everyone using the link... once we have
parts, we'll prepare an email to each customer with details of the
rear and a new discounted checkout...
