295/30/20 all around on stock rims. What grip you gain up front and lose in rear is offset by lower rake - hence stability and overall balance remains virtually the same as stock staggered set up. The gearing is just a wee bit lower, which at some tracks may call for engaging 4th vs staying in 3rd. But that's venue dependent.

For HPDE and NASA Tt, I’ll be on 18’s with DH take offs or Hoosiers in a 305/680/18. |

Nice set up. That's exactly what I'd do if i opted to run multi rims.

Wow! Tires on 1le last about 7 track days plus a bunch of dd miles. Imo the tread rating of stock G3s is rather conservative and in real life they last pretty much equally to RE71R or Cup2. But they cost much less, which is great!

Need a good 200TW in a set of 18" tires for autoX and Scca and i'll trade my 19's out for another set of 18's. The only 295/35/18 out there is an A052 which is not legal since it has 6/32 rather than 7/32 required for SCCA. The 18's with 305/680/18 (305/35/18) are only 48 lbs compared to 61 for stocks and 56 for 19's with 305/30/19. Crazy! |

Holy hell, I had no clue the stockers weighed so much. I thought these were light weight wheels. The 18s must make a huge difference being 3/4s the mass.

Haven’t tracked with 18’s yet but I’m sure they do. This is all wheel AND tire weight just to clarify. Fronts weighed 60.8 and rears weighed 59.1 on my super sophisticated bathroom scale. The fronts weigh more than the rear due to the 25mm worth of metal in the offset. Crazy!

Has anyone verified if the MagRide settings are indeed locked to the PTM mode? For example is it possible to run PTM Race with suspension overridden to sport if a track is extremely bumpy?

Good question. You can certainly run Comp Mode in either Track or Sport, seemingly with the same elsd calibration. I assume you should also be able to turn everything off in either Track or Sport? Unsure about PTM modes specifically, but it is worth a try to see if you can lock MRC in Sport, select PTM Race and verify that MRC is still in Sport?

Just an update as i have re-read the comments from a GM engineer in my own OP: PTM Mode will select MRC mode. You'd need to use PTM Dry to maintain MRC in Sport vs Track calibration. Cheers!
