What we really need is a slightly larger Twin Scroll to retain good street spool time and gain a little big end power. 1200 price point for .3-.5 tenths and 3-5mph in the 1/4 is fair to me.

well, by the time we got the updated LTG specific exhaust housings completed, we were out of stock on the other half of the turbo LOL. go figure. right? just waiting on turbo's, and these will be ready for final fitment. shooting for mid-late april for an official release.

Steve, in terms of size can you give us any spec or comparison to the 6758 LTG ZFR currently offered? Mayo's Camaro was running a Z54 before the upgrade, that car had more power than I've seen any ZFR car make. Is a 7163 ZFR on the horizon for the LTG?

Mayo's camaro has a ton of one off prototype parts and setups that will never see the light of day for others.

his car has exactly 1 "one off" part. the exhaust manifold.

literally everything else is available off the shelf, or easily acquired.

his car made high power because we run it considerably more aggressively than we recommend anybody do on a daily driver car.

*edited because i fatfingered the keyboard.

on paper, the z54 and the 6758 are nearly identical. the "54" and "58" are just a difference in measuring/rating. one is induce, one is exducer. the wheels are nearly identical though.

What is worth all of the extra money then? Sorry if I'm missing something major.

the ZFR is a borg warner 'super core' with dual ceramic ball bearings. the Z54 is a journal bearing turbo, which is the majority of the cost difference.

Hopefully we'll see a better inventory situation then the ZFR.

Meeeeee too. We actually went this route because of the crappy borg Warner supply situation. It doesnt matter if I order 5 or 105, they trickle in a couple at a time. It seems like they would figure it out by now (years later) the demand is there, fix the supply! ....enter:z54 lol
