I too have a Heatbeat & love it. Have never had any heatsoak issues in hot & humid Texas. Have not been to a good track since I installed it a year ago, but have done a little SCCA stuff without issue. I have full bolt ons and a mild cam, 87mm on the Heartbeat. Do 652whp at about 8.5 psi on 93 octane pump gas.

What you write, makes me feel a lot better about FI on this application, and its tendency to power drop after a few min of getting_on_it, considering that we don't get too hot up here, if only for 2-3 weeks of the entire year. So thank you for sharing your observations man

I think its AWESOME that your cam specs of .600/.600 & 216/246 & 114, are somewhat similar to mine, 216/224 116+3; .601in. .582ex, so that I can compare!

I chose this smallish cam for experiments sake, for low speed takeoff operation, and stealth of course. Unfortunately, I had to balance at the time, IF Sledge was staying NA or FI. Needless to say, low end power and takeoff with this cam is amazing, like wow when racing others beside me, and I'm wondering now, if the low end capability of the PD, will turn it(as far as characteristics of the drive are concerned), into a frog, with one powerful takeoff, or you downshift into 2nd gear stabbed, LOL.

Are you ever planning to go 78mm, or are you totally satisfied with the 87mm and 650hp wheel?

What are your thoughts on that blower spacer plate I linked in an above post? It is for the Heartbeat.
