Just couldn't convince myself black was worth the extra money or miles on the other cars.

Although there were a few very rare early production 1LEs made with mosaic black due to parts shortages, the standard equipment is:
1LE = matte.
non-1LE = mosaic black.

Beautiful car OP and a really smart buy. Great color! But it is really annoying when so many girls ask you for a ride and the gendarmes watch your every move.

It is sad, but that is all used ZL1s are worth, even ZLEs. It was painful to me once I found that out. I really enjoyed owning a ZL1 for a while. The ZL1 is an engineering marvel, a world class sports car, great GT long distance car and a bit of a bargain even at list price.
