16 - 17 ECU VIN flash HP tuners
I bought a roller 17 and had a 16 engine, trans, ecm, tcm.
I thought I was going to be able to unlock and write the VIN with HP tuners but I am getting a Invalid VIN/OS Pair. Do I need a different ECM to flash the vin in that has the proper operating system? I'd like to avoid the dealer if possible |

You will probably get better results if you ask the HP Tuners forum, but I would think you need the VIN from the 2016

Thanks, it looks like its going to be a little more complex. The wiring harness is also different between the 16 and 17 engine so its not going to be that easy apparently
