► APEX | Don’t be Gentle, It’s a Rental - The Hertz-Hendrick Camaro ZL1

HERTZ-HENDRICK MOTORSPORTS ZL1 AT BUTTONWILLOW | FEATURING APEX 19” ARC-8 WHEELS

Dave’s 2020 Camaro ZL1 was previously a Hertz rental, and was sent directly to Hendrick Motorsports for a special set of 24 cars to be built. This car is #7 of 24.

Hendrick Motorsports installed a Callaway SC750 supercharger and added the distinctive yellow vinyl stripes and decals with matching calipers.

Dave then purchased the car from Hertz with 1500 miles on it and began transforming the car into a ZL1 1LE with track package. All 24 cars built by Hendrick have unique interior modifications that pay tribute to NASCAR driver #24, William Byron.

This car is owned by Dave Schotz, a 7-time SCCA National Champion and 17-time NASA National Champion. He also campaigns in various autocross, solo, time trial, club racing, and road racing events across the county.

Dave recently picked up a set of our Camaro-specific staggered 19×11” / 19×12” ARC-8 setup with 305s in front and 325s in the rear providing the grip this powerful rear wheel drive monster requires. The ARC-8 is a timeless motorsport design engineered to optimize weight and strength. These Camaro-specific fitments also feature knurled bead seats to reduce tire slippage during hard acceleration and braking.

He's got Goodyear stickers too lol. Also stickers doesn't often equal individual sponsorship, they often just sponsor the event. Tirerack windshield banners are a good example of this.
